THE weather was perfect and the location was absolutely idyllic for our summer picnic and barbecue on the first Saturday in July.
Groups settled down in chairs for a chat on the lawn or under the trees, others explored the woodlands and some brave souls even tackled the croquet.
The setting was the gardens at the home of Marie-Claude and Paul where 20 twinners enjoyed an afternoon and evening of nattering and noshing – with the occasional glass of something to quench the thirst and/or lift the spirits. .
